Job description

Position: Engineering Intern

 

Duration: Summer Session

 

Location: PyroTechnics Research Center

 

Job Description: 

1. Assisting with manufacturing process, which involves measuring via scales, mixing, and a molding process.

2. Working with the team to accomplish a variety of tasks. Explosive testing, quality control checks, maintenance of equipment, etc. 

3. Assist, in part, with running a business

 

 

Learning Objectives:

1. Learn to work with regulatory commissions (ATF/DOT)

2. Learn the engineering process associated with manufacturing. 

3. The company is in the middle of designing automation for our manufacturing process. So, learning everything that is involved with that process. Design concerns, testing new equipment, etc.

4. This is a small company and a lot of hats are worn. So learning how businesses are operated will be inevitable.

5. Learning to work with a team in a professional environment. 

6. PyroTech is directly tied to the oilfield in a niche way, so learning about the energy sector from a perspective other than the producer.
